Our Goodwill stores have a remarkable annual recycling capacity, preventing over 7 million pounds of donated items from ending up in local landfills. Nevertheless, there are certain items we are unable to accept due to safety concerns or disposal challenges:

  • Paint, cleaning supplies, or other hazardous materials
  • Mattresses, box springs, or water beds
  • Tires
  • CRT TVs, Console TVs, Projection TVs
  • Large appliances such as stoves, air conditioners, washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, and hot water heaters
  • Building materials such as lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, windows, doors, garage doors, sinks

Goodwill serves a broad region encompassing twenty-one counties in South Texas. Our operations consist of 21 retail stores with donation stations, an online store, a clearance outlet, four standalone donation stations, five job connection centers, and two distribution centers.ff
Does Goodwill offer pickup services?

At this time, Goodwill South Texas does not offer pick up service.  We ask that donors drop off their donations at their nearest Goodwill South Texas location.
